    1. No needed reference because its false. If you think so it would be true or something then you disbelieved, sadly you lost your faith.

    2. The Qur’an verse (57:3) is speaking about God: that God is outside time (no beginning, no end), both visible and hidden, and knows everything. If you see the phrase “I am the first and the last … I am the seen and the unseen … I have the knowledge of everything” used by someone, it’s very close to the Qur’anic description of God.

When similar phrases are found in sayings attributed to Imam ʿAlī, they are usually rhetorical — used to express a special spiritual or communal status (for example: “I was the first to believe, I know hidden matters revealed to me,” etc.). Scholars note that such first-/last-style declarations in Nahj al-Balāgha and related texts are often figurative and their precise meaning depends on context; some later readers interpret them as humility + claim of knowledge given by God to the Prophet and those close to him. See discussions in Nahj al-Balāgha commentaries.

  2. Well quoting someone without reference is easy innit. Here I'll have a go at it.
